NEW YORK, NEW YORK ...

These days in NY were very special. Firstly because it's probably the most important city in the world and it was our dream to go this place.

We arrived to the "Big Apple" on Friday afternoon, seeing the skyline while we were on the bus, it was gorgeous! After that experience we went to the hotel, it was a good one (****). And then we took the ferry to Staten Island to see the Statue of Liberty and the hundreds and hundreds of skyscrapers that were there.

We saw Wall Street and the 9/11 Memorial Building that is called Tower of the Liberty and is going to be the highest in the States. When we looked at that building we remembered so many people that were killed that day. Finally we went across Brooklyn Bridge and we saw that, at night, most of the people were still working in their offices, offering us one of the greatest photos we can ever have.

To make matters better, on Saturday we started going to the Empire State Building that was the tallest building in the world many years ago. We went to the 86th floor. The views of the whole city were overwhelming; when we were there we could see from Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park.

After that, we went to Times Square and we saw thousands of bright advertisements there and it was also a very crowded part of the city that never sleeps. And then we went to Rockefeller Centre and a little bit of Central Park.

We had dinner in one of the most typical American restaurants there, inside there was life Broadway musical played by the waiters. I thought this was the most exciting moment of our days in NY but I was wrong, we finished the night on a Limousine tour in the city centre, including Rockefeller Centre and Times Square. For me and my friends it was a dream that we couldn’t believe it was happening that night.

The last day we went to see the National History Museum that is a fantastic place to go, while we were entering, some sketches of movies like Night at the Museum came through and made us remember that we might see some of the protagonists that appear in the movie. After, we went to see the house where John Lennon used to live and was killed, that was our last visit and then we returned to Washington DC with our families.
