Graduation & Tysons Corner Mall

Today, July 17th, has been our last day of class at LADO International Institute. Instead of doing regular classes, we have done workshops. We have practised the English idioms that we learnt yesterday and we have used them to introduce ourselves to students from other groups. It has been a special day because we have graduated! The director has called us one by one and she has given us a certificate in front of everybody. It has been fun! We have taken photos with the graduation gown and cap! All of us were very sad to leave LADO because we have had a great experience and learnt a lot of English! We will miss the LADO teachers and staff and, of course, all friends we have made there!
In the afternoon, we have done our last group trip: we have gone to Tysons Corner Mall where we went shopping.
In conclusion, it is true that the last day all together has been sad, but we have also enjoyed it a lot!

Arlington Cemetery

Today, 16th of July, we went to Arlington Cemetery.
First of all, we had class but in a different way because we did workshops. It was fun because we could learn new English expressions, cultural aspects of America and we knew new students from other groups. The class was different because we worked in groups and we cooperated all together.
In the evening we went to the Arlington Cemetery. We saw tombs of people who fought in the World War I and II, the graves of the President John F. Kennedy and other members of his family, the Change of Guard in honor of the Unknown Soldier and we could also had views of the Pentagon.
It was a very long day because we learned and visited a lot and had a good time all together!
