White House & Lincoln Memorial

Today, after attending to our lessons, we walked along the wide streets of Washington to visit two landmarks of the city: the White House and the Lincoln Memorial. 
On our way, we could take beautiful pictures of the Washington Memorial, as it was a sunny day!
We could see the White House from some distance, which was just as we had watched in movies.
The Lincoln Memorial was my favourite monument because of the nice views of the National Mall from that point and its historic importance. We could imagine Martin Luther King giving a speech there!
